4G Provider in Kuwait

VIVA Telecommunication Co. was trying the new wireless 4G technology at their Marina Mall branch, the price for the fresh service or full details are not yet available, so it’s only a stuff of time till things get clearer. Currently in Kuwait, the most speed provided by telecommunication companies is only up to 27 Mbps & with the 4G this number can get up to 100 Mpbs or more.

4G is 4th generation of cellular wireless standards. It is a descendant to 3G & 2G, which offers a wide range of data rates up to ultra-broadband (gigabit-speed) Internet access to mobile & still users. Right now, only the HTC EVO 4G phone is intended to use the 4G.
A 4G system is predictable to provide a comprehensive and secure all-IP based mobile broadband solution to laptop computer wireless modems, smartphones, and other mobile devices. Facilities such as ultra-broadband Internet access, IP telephony, gaming services, and streamed multimedia may be provided to users.
Pre-4G technologies such as mobile WiMAX and first-release 3G Long term evolution (LTE) have been on the market since 2006 and 2009 respectively, and are often branded as 4G. The current versions of these technologies did not fulfill the original ITU-R requirements of data rates approximately up to 1 Gbit/s for 4G systems. Marketing materials use 4G as a description for Mobile-WiMAX and LTE in their current forms.
