Downgrade OS 4.0 to OS 3.1.3 on iPhone 3G

I offer you a tutorial to downgrade from OS 4.0 to OS 3.1.3 for iPhone 3G. This tutorial applies to those of you who have done a restore with firmware 4.0 or updating without having a developer account.

This tutorial has been tested many times and presented no problems whatsoever on the technical or material terms, namely your iPhone. But you realize these manipulations your own risk.
1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and connect your iPhone to your computer
2. Turn your iPhone into DFU mode, why keep pressing the Home button 5 seconds then the power button 10 seconds and then release the power button by holding down the Home button until iTunes detects your iPhone
3. Select the 3.1.2 firmware and restore your iPhone. If you encounter error messages, ignore, the firmware will be installed in any way on your iPhone
4. Start Redsn0w and jailbreak your iPhone. If you encounter an error message, put your iPhone in DFU and try again

  1. You'll need two pieces of software in order to downgrade your device from OS 4.0 back to OS 3.1.3. You can download iRecovery
